Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy sets out how We handle Your information when You use the Service, and explains Your privacy rights and how the law protects You.
In short: We do not collect, store, or receive Your Personal Data. Everything You enter in the Application stays on Your Device or in Your own iCloud account. By using the Service, You acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

Interpretation
Words that begin with a capital letter have the meanings given below. These meanings apply whether the word is used in the singular or the plural.
Definitions
For the purposes of this Privacy Policy:
- Application means Cheque Ledger | دفتر چک, the software program made available by the Company.
- Company (referred to as "the Company", "We", "Us" or "Our") means the individual developer behind Cheque Ledger | دفتر چک.
- Country means: United Kingdom.
- Device means any device that can run the Application, such as an iPhone or an iPad.
- Personal Data means any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual.
- Service means the Application.
- Service Provider means any third party that processes data on behalf of the Company. The Company does not use any Service Providers to process Your data.
- You means the individual using the Service, or the company or other legal entity on whose behalf that individual is using the Service.
Collecting and Using Your Personal Data
Types of Data Collected
Personal Data
We do not ask You to create an account, and We do not collect any Personal Data through the Application, such as Your name, email address, phone number, or location.
Usage Data
We do not collect Usage Data. The Application does not include analytics, crash-reporting, or tracking tools, and We do not receive Your IP address, Device identifiers, or information about how You use the Application.
Information You enter in the Application
The Application lets You record and manage cheque information. Everything You enter is stored locally on Your Device. If iCloud is enabled for the Application, Your data may also be synced through Your personal iCloud account using Apple's iCloud services, so that it is available on Your other Apple devices.
That data is held by Apple within Your own iCloud account. We cannot access, read, or retrieve it. Apple's handling of iCloud data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Device features and permissions
Some features of the Application may ask for permission to use Your camera, Your photo library, or files on Your Device, for example to attach an image to a cheque record or to import or export Your data.
- Access is requested only when You use the relevant feature, and You can change or withdraw it at any time in Your Device's Settings.
- Images and files You choose are processed and stored only on Your Device, or in Your own iCloud account if iCloud is enabled. They are never sent to Us or to any third party.
- When You export data, it goes only where You choose to send it, such as Files, AirDrop, or another app. What happens to it afterwards is under Your control.
Notifications
The Application may send You notifications, such as reminders about cheque due dates. You will be asked for permission first, and You can turn notifications off at any time in Your Device's Settings. Notifications are used only for reminders about Your own records, never for advertising or marketing. Any technical notification identifier is handled by Apple's notification service, and We do not use it to identify You.
Use of Your Personal Data
Because We do not collect Your Personal Data, We do not use it for any purpose. We do not use it for advertising, profiling, analytics, or marketing, and We do not send emails or marketing messages to users.
The only Personal Data We may ever receive is what You choose to send Us when You contact Us, for example Your email address and the contents of Your message. We use it solely to reply to You.
We do not share Your information with Service Providers, affiliates, business partners, or other users, and We do not sell it, because We do not have it.
Subscriptions and Payments
The Application offers monthly and yearly subscriptions through Apple's in-app purchase system. Payments are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store Your payment card details, billing address, or Apple ID. You can manage or cancel Your subscription at any time in Your Apple ID account settings.
Advertising, Analytics, and Tracking
The Application does not display advertising and does not contain third-party advertising, analytics, or remarketing tools. We do not track You across other apps or websites.
Retention of Your Personal Data
We do not retain Your Personal Data, because We do not collect it. Data You enter in the Application remains on Your Device, or in Your own iCloud account, until You delete it. If You email Us, We keep Your message only for as long as needed to respond to You and to meet any legal obligations, and then delete it.
Transfer of Your Personal Data
We do not transfer Your Personal Data, because We do not collect it. If You use iCloud, Apple may store Your data in its data centres, including outside Your country, under Apple's own policies and safeguards.
Delete Your Personal Data
You are in full control of Your data. You can edit or delete any entry within the Application at any time, or delete the Application to remove the data it stores on Your Device. Data synced through iCloud can be managed or removed in Your Device's iCloud settings (Settings > Your name > iCloud). If You have emailed Us and would like Your message deleted, contact Us and We will delete it.
Disclosure of Your Personal Data
Law enforcement
We hold no Personal Data about You in connection with the Application, so there is nothing for Us to disclose if a court or public authority asks for it.
Business transactions
If the Application is ever transferred to another developer, this will not involve any of Your Personal Data, because We do not hold any.
Security of Your Personal Data
Your data is protected by the security features of Your Device and Your Apple account, including Your passcode, Face ID or Touch ID, and iCloud encryption. We recommend keeping Your Device and Apple ID secure. No method of electronic storage is completely secure, so We cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Rights under UK GDPR and EU GDPR
Because We do not collect or hold Your Personal Data, We are not a controller or processor of the content You store in the Application. Even so, under the UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018 and, where they apply, the EU GDPR, You have the right to:
- be informed about how Your data is used (this Privacy Policy);
- access, correct, or erase Your Personal Data;
- restrict or object to processing;
- data portability; and
- complain to a supervisory authority.
In the United Kingdom, You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk. If You are in the EU or elsewhere, You can contact Your local data protection authority.
The Service is available to users worldwide and is not aimed at any particular country. The same approach applies wherever You are.
Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed at anyone under the age of 13, and We do not knowingly collect any data from anyone under 13. Because the Application does not collect Personal Data from any user, We hold no such data. If You are a parent or guardian and believe Your child has sent Us information, please contact Us.
Links to Other Websites
The Service may link to websites or services that We do not operate, such as Apple's. If You follow a third-party link, You will go to that party's site. We encourage You to read the privacy policy of every site You visit. We have no control over, and accept no responsibility for, the content or privacy practices of third-party sites and services.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the "Last updated" date at the top. If We ever change how the Application handles data, We will update this Privacy Policy before the change takes effect. Please review it periodically. Changes take effect when they are posted on this page.
